Hi!
Here’s a list of things that deserve to be shared, based on the last couple of my life
🥕 Nomo
I had dinner at Nomo, on a Friday night, and it had been a while since I’d gone to a restaurant in São Paulo and felt like recommending it to friends and family.
With a predominantly vegetarian menu (an offering that I have been quite judgmental about in the not so distant past), each dish is well thought out and original.
The menu invites you to order multiple items to share so that you can try a little bit of everything. We started with the couvert—it was so good we ordered it twice—and had the manjubinha (a Brazilian fish, broadband anchovy in English), okra and buri fish (yellowtail).

It wasn’t an entirely vegetarian meal, but that wasn’t on purpose. I would’ve been completely content without the fish and with other veggie options. The truth is that what I wanted to have done was order one of each, but there weren’t that many people in the group AKA not enough stomach space.
📵 Opal
This app changed my life. On my next Always More to Say issue I will touch on how my addiction to my phone gets in the way of doing other things I should prioritize. For that and other reasons, I downloaded the Opal app, which blocks apps according to your settings.
It’s not like your phone’s operating system time limit, which requires a simple tap on “Dismiss” and the notification is sent off to the ether never to be seen again. Opal really doesn’t let you use the apps.

On the left, my block called “Mindless Scrolling”. I set it up to avoid doing useless things on my phone. I selected 8 apps that I would spend an unreasonable amount of time during the day and set up my time limit as 25 minutes for all of them together. Let’s say 10 minutes on Instagram, 8 on TikTok, 7 on Farfetch, and I can’t access them again until 30 minutes have gone by.
